Ascendis Caller ID 2 Projected Release Announcement

Ascendis Software has been hard at work on version 2 of Ascendis Caller ID, and is pleased to announce its projected release on July 9, 2007. This version will support Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, and Vista.

Ascendis Caller ID monitors incoming calls, and displays the name and phone number of each person who calls. You can assign actions that the program will take for all callers or for individual callers. Depending upon the caller, Ascendis Caller ID can speak the information out loud, play a sound, run a program, send an email, or just hang up the phone. Power users can write their own actions that can be run in response to incoming calls, allowing you to adjust your speakers' volume, turn off your music, or perform any programmable tasks.

When used with Whozz Calling? 2, 4, or 8 devices, Ascendis Caller ID 2 can monitor outgoing calls as well as incoming calls, and can track call duration.
