Q: How much does Ascendis Caller ID cost?
A: Ascendis Caller ID costs US$49.95 to monitor one phone line. For most users, that means you only pay US$49.95 to run Ascendis Caller ID on as many computers as you like.

Q: Do you offer volume discounts for Ascendis Caller ID?
A: It's rare to purchase multiple copies of Ascendis Caller ID since the license lets you run it on an as many computers as you need except for the computer connected to the phone lines. However, if you have a special need we will be happy to extend a discount for purchasing multiple copies. The discount will vary with the number of copies needed. Please contact sales and indicate the number of copies you would like.

Q: I want to run Ascendis Caller ID on three computers. Do I have to buy three copies?
A: No. If you're only monitoring a single phone line then you can buy one copy of Ascendis Caller ID and run it on as many computers as you like. When you receive the activation code, choose "Activate..." on the "Help" menu of the computer connected to the phone line. Press "Activate for Single Computer or Server Use" and paste in the activation code.

On the other computers, choose "Activate..." on the "Help" menu of Ascendis Caller ID. Press "Activate for Client Use" and paste in the same activation code.

Q: I tried to purchase Ascendis Caller ID but it didn't work.
A: If the order system is not working or could not accept your payment for some reason, please try again later. If it still doesn't work, please submit a support request.

Q: What happens after I buy Ascendis Caller ID?
A: Our order processor sends us the order. Then our automated systems create a registration for you and send it to you by email.

A: After you order Ascendis Caller ID, we will send you the registration message by email.

Q: Is it hard to install the registration?
A: No, it's quite easy.  The registration message will include installation instructions.  Basically you just copy the message in your email program and paste it into Ascendis Caller ID.  That's all there is to it!

Q: My email doesn't support attachments.  Can I still register Ascendis Caller ID?
A: Yes.  The registration message is text and we send it in the body of the email message.  You just have to copy the message in your email program and paste it into Ascendis Caller ID.

Q: I ordered Ascendis Caller ID but I haven't received my registration email.
A: Normally you should receive your registration email within about 15 minutes of completing your order. If you don't receive it within this time, check any spam filters or holding areas for your email account or email program. You may want to add sales at ascendis dot com to your email address book or list of allowed addresses to make sure you receive it.
If you still haven't received your registration message within a reasonable time or have determined that a spam filter deleted it, please send a support request. Please note that our response to your request may also be filtered if you have not fixed the problem!

Q: I'm currently using the trial version of Ascendis Caller ID for free.  Why should I pay to register it?
A: The trial version will stop reporting the caller's name and phone number after 30 days.  If you don't buy it before then, you won't know who's calling.  Your purchase is protected by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

Q: What is the update policy for Ascendis Caller ID?
A: Purchasing Ascendis Caller ID entitles you to free minor updates for the life of the product. Minor updates are those that change the second or third version number. (For example: 1.2.3 -> 1.2.4, 1.2.4 -> 1.3.0)  In addition, all updates for one year from date of purchase are free. In other words, if you buy Ascendis Caller ID today, you can upgrade to any  new version of it released up to one year from now, at no additional cost.

Q: Can I purchase using PayPal?
A: Yes.  Once you get to the order form, select "PayPal" as your method of payment.

Q: Who or what is "Plimus"?
A: Ascendis Software contracts with other companies to provide order processing and collect payments.  "Plimus" is one of those companies.  The charge will appear from "Plimus" on your credit card statement.

A: Ascendis Software contracts with other companies to provide order processing and collect payments.  "SWREG" is one of those companies.  The charge will appear from "cardquery.com" on your credit card statement.

Q: Do you accept purchase orders?
A: Yes, we accept purchase orders through one of our online stores for orders over $100. You must first fill out the online form to get the total amount, mailing address, and fax number. Be sure to select "Purchase Order" as "Method of payment" on the order form. This option will not be available until the total price is at least $100, which means you have to order a sufficient multiline package or order multiple copies.

The second page of the online form contains instructions on how to complete your purchase. Be sure to print the page and include it when you mail or fax your purchase order.
