Ascendis Caller ID 2 can import a version 1 database.  This is the best and only supported method for getting version 1 data into version 2.

 

Normally when you run Ascendis Caller ID 2 for the first time it will offer to import from version 1 if it is installed.  If you declined or need to import at a later time, hold down the shift key while clicking the File menu, then the Import submenu, and choose "Import Version 1 Database...".  You will be prompted to locate the version 1 database folder.  This is normally
